One fine day, we went to this village called 'Guduancheri' (not sure if the spelling's right!), a farming area in Chennai. There were rice fields, chilli fields, though all were stripped bare and blistered by the scorching sun. Somewhere tucked in a little house was this family whose kids were playing a game. They drew the "board" on the ground and the stones were their seeds. After explanation, I still didn't understand the game...

Anyhow, the gold things you see in the foreground? They are the dice.

You know, this posting of photos will conveniently cancel any effort in writing a proper blog entry...Hah!
