dolly dearest

I remember playing with cardboard dolls when I was young. These dolls come with a whole selection of cardboard clothes where you can wear for your dolls. Whatever the occasion requires. You just fold the flaps over their shoulders.
 
Not long after, I was dressing up Barbie Dolls. Of course this time round, I could comb their hair, twist their limbs and even inflict pain upon my brother. Because now, they are real toys.
 
Now. I dress up dolls here! And I must admit that although these dolls are virtual and technically speaking, non-existent, playing dress-up is still as fun as ever. Even at this ripe old age of mine.

i had a dream

I had a dream last night, what a lovely dream it was. I dreamed we all were alright. Happy in a land of oz .

reality

Long long time ago, whenever I was mugging for my exams, it always seemed like there were super alot of things that needed to be done. Like changing the sheets, making a birthday card for that special friend, painting the walls... There were so many so many things that needed to be attended to. Yet when exams were over, these needs went with the wind. The sheets were cleaner than ever before, that friend didn't seem that special afterall, and the walls were in the perfect shades.
 
Right now, it's déjà vu. Instead of exams, it's deadlines and expectations. My partner in crime just went to bed in order to escape from reality (her own words), and for my case, I'm typing this instead of zoocup.
 
Oh. The change was a form of escapism too.
